The first Lumia in fact to carry such a flash, which should come to a relief to many of you out there; especially since some have gone as far as stating that a Pureview without Xenon flash, is not worthy of the Pureview title at all.

Samsung plans to ship more than half a billion phones next year
Samsung has some seriously ambitious plans for next year as it’s gearing toward shipping 510 million phones in 2013, up from expected 420 million this year. That’s like a 20% growth year-over-year!
But wait, there’s more – the vast majority (390 million) of these devices will be smartphones, making the Korean company the world’s largest smartphone maker ever.
The information, in case you wonder, comes from “an executive at one of Samsung’s key suppliers”, according to The Korea Times. And while he/she may be super-bullish on the company’s prospects, Gartner thinks Sammy will move around 250-300 million smartphones next year.
When it comes to where all those phones will be made, some 240 million will be manufactured in Vietnam, 170 million in China, 40 million in South Korea, and 20 million in India. And those Vietnamese facilities are expected to grow bigger with Samsung planning to invest around $2.2 billion by 2020 to boost their output even more…

Some Tips To Extent Your iPhone Battery Life
Anyone who’s used an iPhone for even a few days has discovered that while these phones are more powerful, and more fun, than perhaps any other cell or smart phone, one place they don’t excel is battery life. Any halfway intensive iPhone user will recharge their phone almost every couple of days.
There are ways to conserve iPhone battery life, but many of them involve turning off services and features, which makes it a choice between all the cool things that the iPhone can do and having enough juice to do them.
Here are tips to help you extend your iPhone battery life:
1. Turn on Auto-Brightness
The iPhone has an ambient light sensor that adjusts the brightness of the screen based on the light around it (darker in dark places, brighter when theres more ambient light) to both save battery and make it easier to see. Turn Auto-Brightness on and you’ll save battery because your screen will need to use less power in dark places.
Find it in the Settings app -> Brightness & Wallpaper -> Auto-Brightness On
2. Reduce Screen Brightness
You can control the default brightness of your iPhone screen with this slider. Needless to say, the brighter the default setting for the screen, the more battery it requires. Keep the screen dimmer to conserve more of your battery.

3. Turn Bluetooth Off
Bluetooth wireless networking is especially useful for cell phone users with wireless headsets or earpieces. But transmitting data wirelessly takes battery and leaving Bluetooth on to accept incoming data at all times requires even more juice. Turn off Bluetooth except when you’re using it to squeeze more juice from your battery.

4. Turn Off 3G/4G
The iPhone 3G and later models can take advantage the speedy 3G and 4G LTE cellular phone networks. Not surprisingly, using 3G, and especially 4G LTE, requires more battery life to get the quicker data speeds and higher-quality calls. It’s tough to go slower, but if you need more battery, turn off 3G or LTE and just use the older, slower networks. Your battery will last longer (though you’ll need it when you’re downloading websites more slowly!).
Find it in Settings -> General -> Cellular -> Slide Enable 3G to Off on some models or Enable LTE to Off on the iPhone 5 or newer
5. Keep Wi-Fi Off
The other kind of high-speed network that the iPhone can connect to is Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is even faster than 3G, though it’s only available where there’s a hotspot (not virtually everywhere like 3G). Keeping Wi-Fi turned on at all times in hopes that an open hotspot will appear is a sure way to drain your battery life. So, unless you’re using it right this second, keep Wi-Fi turned off.

6. Turn Off Location Services
One of the coolest features of the iPhone is its built-in GPS. This allows your phone to know where you are and give you exact driving directions, give that information to apps that help you find restaurants, and more. But, like any service that sends data over a network, it needs battery power to work. If you’re not using Location Services, and don’t plan to right away, turn them off and save some power.

7. Turn Data Push Off
The iPhone can be set to automatically suck email and other data down to it or, for some kinds of accounts, have data pushed out to it whenever new data becomes available. You’re probably realized by now that accessing wireless networks costs you battery life, so turning data push off, and thus reducing the number of times your phone connects to the network, will extend your battery’s life. With push off, you’ll need to set your email to check periodically or do it manually (see the next tip for more on this).

8. Fetch Email Less Often
The less often your phone accesses a network, the less battery it uses. Save battery life by setting your phone to check your email accounts less often. Try checking every hour or, if you’re really serious about saving battery, manually. Manual checks means you’ll never have email waiting for you on your phone, but you’ll also stave off the red battery icon.

9. Auto-Lock Sooner
You can set your iPhone to automatically go to sleep – a feature known as Auto-Lock - after a certain amount of time. The sooner it sleeps, the less power is used to run the screen or other services. Try setting Auto-Lock to 1 or 2 minutes.

10. Turn off Equalizer
The iPod app on the iPhone has an Equalizer feature that can adjust music to increase bass, decrease treble, etc. Because these adjustments are made on the fly, they require extra battery. Turn the equalizer off to conserve battery. This means youll have a slightly modified listening experience - the battery savings might not be worht it to true audiophiles - but for those hoarding battery power, its a good deal.

11. Do Less-Battery-Intensive Things
Not all ways to save battery life involve settings. Some of them involve the way you use the phone. Things that require the phone be on for long periods of time, or use a lot of system resources, suck the most battery. These things include movies, games, and browsing the web. If you need to conserve battery, limit your use of battery-intensive apps.
12. Sleep and Wake Less
Constantly putting your phone to sleep and waking it up will drain battery life. Of course these functions are common parts of using the phone, but you can also be judicious in your turning on and off of the phone and save battery life at the same time.
If all else fails, just get more battery. A few accessory makers like mophie and Kensington offer extended life batteries for the iPhone. If you need so much battery life that none of these tips help you enough, an extended life battery is your best bet. With one, you’ll get days more standby time and many hours more use.
14. iPhone 4S & iOS 5: Turn Off Other Location Settings
Use this tip if your iPhone 4S or devices upgraded to iOS 5 are burning through battery life too quickly. Its probably a software bug, so Apple may fix it and this tip may go away, but in the meantime, here it is.
A number of additional location services introduced in iOS 5 seem to be draining battery too quickly. Turn them off and you should regain some battery life.

How to Use
In order to ensure the safety, integrity, and efficiency of the ReadyBoost system, Microsoft has added several safeguards.
To begin with, the data on device is automatically encrypted using the Advanced Encryption Standard — AES 128. Therefore, if you happen to lose the device, you won’t have to worry about someone getting access to data.
How to Use
- Plug a flash drive or flash memory card into your computer.
- In the Autoplay dialog box, under General options, click Speed up my system.
- In the Properties dialog box, click the ReadyBoost tab, and then do one of the following:
- To turn ReadyBoost off, click Do not use this device.
- To use the maximum available space on the flash drive or memory card for ReadyBoost, click Dedicate this device to ReadyBoost. Windows will leave any files already stored on the device, but itll use the rest to boost your system speed.
- To use less than the maximum available space on the device for ReadyBoost, click Use this device, and then move the slider to choose the amount of available space on the device you want to use.
4 .Once you click OK, ReadyBoost will configure the device to use the cache and immediately begin using it

How to set up Firefox Sync
When you set up Firefox Sync on your computer, all of your data and preferences (such as your bookmarks, history, passwords, open tabs and installed add-ons) gets stored securely on the Mozilla servers. Then you can connect other devices (a mobile phone for example) and they will be automatically synchronized, giving you access to all of your information no matter where you are. This article will walk you though setting up Firefox Sync for the first time.
*If the Firefox button does not appear in your browser, Press the Alt+T key-combination to open the tools menu, then Select Options.
On the next screen Click the top button that says Create a New Account.
Tip: Keep your password something easy to remember. A hacker will need either access to your device or your Sync Key in order to get into your sync account, so a strong password is not necessarily required (but still recommended).
When done, go back and Click Next on the previous window.
If you lose this number and lose access to a synced device, you will not be able to get into your sync account ever again; you also won’t be able to register the same email address to make a new account. Mozilla (Firefox) does not keep this number on their server, so nobody will be able to recover it for you.
Once you’ve got it backed up, Click Next.
Now you can start adding other devices to your Firefox 4 sync account, and we’ll continue walking through that below.

Connecting Another Computer
Step 1
In Firefox on your additional computer, open up the Options menu.Step 2

Next Click the bottom button on the Firefox Sync page, titled Connect.Step 4
On the Add a Device page, Click the link on the bottom that says “I don’t have the device with me.”Step 5
Type in your Firefox 4 sync account email address and password. Then Type in our Sync Key. Click Next when finished.Done!
Your Firefox 4 account is now synced on an additional computer. You can repeat this process as many times as you like. I have all of my computers running on one Firefox Sync account, and it keeps things groovy. Being able to easily jump between computers without losing my open browsing tabs is a really useful feature to have.All that is left now is to add Firefox sync to your phone, below we’ll talk about the process for Android.

Indian Railways to launch mobile phone ticketing app
Indian Railways has announced they are developing a mobile ticketing application for mobile phones.
The application will be available to download onto a mobile phone and tickets will be sent by text message.
Anyone using the app would have to carry proof of identification but will no longer have to queue for tickets at stations.
Passengers in rural areas of India often have to purchase tickets from a travel agency, where they can often be sold at higher prices.
This new form of ticket purchasing could make the railways much more accessible to those who live in rural areas, away from a main station where tickets aren’t sold.
Individuals will need to be registered on the IRCTC’s Online Passenger Reservation System in order to reserve tickets.
Indian Railways say they are not looking to increase ticket prices.

The company received the 3G spectrum post the Government of India regulated online auctions for the 3G and BWA spectrum. The first 3G Video Call on the Airtel network was made by the Group’s Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal and the Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan. To support the new high-end service by Airtel it plans to set up over 200 experiential zones which would assist people to experience the power of 3G from Airtel.
The new service and the logo is expected to be promoted by a new bunch of ads and various branding activities.
The new logo for Bharti Airtel is a bright vibrant red colored with Airtel embossed in white in the middle. As per the telco this new identity is symbolic of youthful and dynamic global identity that it poses with widespread operations.

The new identity underlines airtel’s willingness to embrace everything that is new. The red colour, which is an integral part of the brand, continues to represent the energy and dynamism that has made airtel the success it is today. The new curved addition to the logo is a symbol which will help ensure instant recognition across diverse international markets.

The new Airtel Logo, which is an interpretation of the English letter “a”, signifies “youthful, international, inclusive and dynamic”. The new look comes with gentle curves and color effects which gives the identity new energy and liveliness.
Apart from the new Logo, Airtel has embraced a refreshed signature tune which has been composed by AR Rahman. The new tune also adds to the youthfulness of the new logo.
